The house we are renting has a little Oak tree in the back yard. It has been raining a lot lately. The sun and blue sky do peek out occasionally, bust mostly it is wet and gray. When it snows in the north, it rains down here. I miss the snow. The other day, I was determined to go out back and capture a few things that are beautiful, even though it looked so dreary out there.
The rain drops on the branches looked like Christmas lights adorning the tree, and on the same tree, a loan leaf still stubbornly clings to its branch.
