Cilantro. Rosemary. Fertility Frog. Avocado. Thyme.
The cilantro is from the store. I just keep it there to make it last a bit longer. Did you know you can grow Rosemary in water? It will grow roots and then you can plant it outside (if you live in TX) or in a pot. I'm not sure about the thyme.
It's an experiment. Actually, I just checked, and the thyme is growing roots too! I thought it would. =) The wood is very similar to the rosemary and just like the rosemary bush, the thyme thrives in hot and dry soil. The avocado seed will turn into a tree, eventually. The fertily frog was a gift from the grandfather of the children I nannied when I was a teenager in Spain. Abuelo got it in Peru, where frogs are thought to be a symbol of fertility. It belongs with the plants; maybe it will keep my garden fertile.
